Filofax Pocket Saffiano Review

Hey loves! I have another planner review for you, if you read my What I got for Christmas post you’ll know that I got a pocket size Filofax Saffiano from my Grandad and I love it. I use it as a wallet/ coupon holder so I carry it in my handbag and will be doing a setup on this but for today I will just be doing a review and telling you about it.

20170120_093211

Mine is in the colour Raspberry but to me it’s a purple colour but either way the colour is lovely. It has a popper closure and an elasticated pen loop. on the inside there is to card slots and a secretarial pocket, in the back there is a pocket that you could slide a small list pad in.

20170120_093226

Filofax is always a go to brand when it comes to buying a planner because they are such good quality and excellent prices for the product you get. Mine was purchased off Ebay but you can get them from the Filofax website or stationery shops that stock them such as Staples and Ryman.

Do you own a Filofax? What make and colour is it?

Wilko Personal Planner Review

Hey loves! Today I have a review on a planner I picked up from a UK store called Wilko, I can’t link the item as it is no longer on the website so don’t if it’s still being sold. I decided to pick this up at the being of November just to get back into using a ring bound planner before my Carpe Diem came.

20170103_125738

This is the planner from the outside, quite soft faux leather with and elastic closure. I was going to pick up a blue or pink in a different style but there was non left in stock then this caught my eye. It’s very light weight so very good for carry around in your bag.

20170103_125801

This is the inside, there is 4 small card slot type pockets and the bottom one is clear then there is a large side opening pocket. The planner came with 5 dividers and a variety of inserts including 2017 calendar, contacts and notes.

I love the planner so much I’m using it along side my Carpe Diem, this will be my every day carry around planner. A review will be up in few week on how I set this up and what I’m using it for.

I would also like to tell you I am now part of Yourworldofcolour design team so if your ever buying stickers from there use code kazobsessions15 for 15 off minimum  £8.

Carpe Diem Review

Hey loves! If you saw my Etsy haul yesterday you’ll know that I’ve finally got the planner I wanted. So I thought I’d do I quick review of it for those of you who don’t know what a Carpe Diem planner is.

To start this is what the planner looks like I chose the Platinum because I wanted a colour that would be good for Christmas but also for the rest of the year because if I had a Filofax I probably would of chose a red then a different coloured one for the rest. This is fine for now but I think I might get another so I can change then around depending on the time of year. You can buy this planner from many places online like Ebay or the main brands website which is simple stories.

20161127_181729

The binder cover is made of lovely split leather – like material. There are four small pockets and one larger side pocket on the inside cover.

20161127_181828

The inserts in this planner are:
⦁ 12 monthly calendar pages.
⦁ 12 monthly tabbed dividers.
⦁ 72 weekly inserts
⦁ 1 acetate dashboard
⦁ 7 assorted decorative inserts

The monthly inserts are across two pages giving enough room for write – or decorating.
The weekly pages are horizontal which might not appeal to people like me who prefer a vertical spread for decorating so I chose to purchase some vertical inserts from the same seller.

Both sets of monthly and weekly are undated so you can start any month you like, so for me I’m going to move the December section to the front so I can start decorating now which mean my first plan with me will be up tomorrow.

The back has a pocket that you could put a note pad in and another side pocket. Once I’ve set this all up and got use to using it I will do another post showing how I set it up and what extra things I added to it, this should be up after Christmas.

Are you getting a new planner for Christmas, if so which did you choose?

*Disclaimer, I was sent this product in exchange for a review. All views and opinions are my own.

Hey loves! I’m here today with a review on this skin, hair and nails supplement. A few months ago I signed up to the Bloggers Required website which is where I found the opportunity to try this product and review it for the brand. I received an email from Amani at Sparkle PR who said LQ Health would like to sent me their product for review so here it is.

What is LQ Health?

I received a months worth in the mail at the end of September so I thought I would start at the beginning of October so I can do the whole month. I do have a week left but I’m seeing results. I’ve seen some really good improvements to my skin which is smoother and softer, my nails which are much stronger than they were before. My hair is in much better condition, before it was dry and dull from all the times I’d dyed my hair now it’s shiny and smooth. They taste of these isn’t bad either I take mine in a morning before my breakfast, I would definitely purchase these myself and highly recommend these to anyone.

Perspirex antiperspirant review

*Disclaimer, this product was sent to me for free by the company for review but my opinions are 100% my own.

Hey loves! Today I have a product review on an antiperspirant that with one application at night should ensure dryness for 3-5 days. It also provides long-lasting protection which is perfect for hot summer days. Perspirex’s formula protects when you need it most avoiding any embarrassing sweaty moment.

I chose Perspirex comfort which protects against sweat and odour for 3-5 days. It minimises skin irritation that most high performance antiperspirants cause. Its free from perfume, while its special care system cpx minimises irritation, this makes it perfect for regular use or first time users who want to try something new.

This antiperspirant work really well, I had no nasty smells from my arm pits and all I need to do was spray a deodorant so I had a fresh smell. Not much more I can say about this product really apart from it does do what it says and I would highly recommend this product. This brand also do this roll on in three more types, Original, Strong and Plus.

Each roll on is 20ml apart from the plus which is 25ml, these are sold in Boots and retail for £8.49 Click here and it will take you to the Perspirex products on the Boots website. I will definitely be buying this product again.

Makeup Gallery False Nails

Hey loves! Please bare with me as this is my first beauty product review. Todays review is on Poundland’s Makeup Gallery false nails. I’ve had my nails done in a salon many times but with being a stay at home mum of two having them done on a regular basis just isn’t practical to me. I’m always buying false nails and most of the time they last me just as long as having them dome professionally so I was surprised when I tried these from Poundland’s Makeup Gallery range.

The nails aren’t to long which is a great thing because most false nails I have to file down. They are super easy to use because they are pre-glued but I added glue to make them last longer. I chose this set as they looked so summery to me, I loves these so much that I have a pack waiting to be used in my drawer and I spotted a couple more packs that I want to pick up.

These nails would be great if you want your nails doing for just one night or you could add some extra glue like me to make them last longer. I would highly recommend these nails and they defiantly will be a repurchase for me

Day designer review

*Disclaimer, I was sent this planner for free in exchange for a review. This has not affected my views or opinions these are all my own.

Hey loves! I’m so excited to do this review because this planner is gorgeous and would like to say thank you to day designer for kindly sending it to me.

Let start with packaging, it come in three boxes. A normal brown box, a white box then a lovely bright pink box that opens like a drawer. Inside the pink box the planner is wrapped in bubble wrap.

IMG_0003

When taking the planner out of the packaging it is a bit heavy but that can be expected with it being a 12 month planner full of daily pages, monthly views, dividers and goal pages.

The front and back covers are very thick and have this lovely black and white stripe pattern with gold writing. There is metal covers on the corners as well as a gold spiral for the spine. I love how simple but elegant these planner looks.

IMG_0071

On the inside cover there is a pink pocket that could be used to store documents or anything that you need to store in it.

IMG_0072

So going through the planner the first page is blank which can be taken out if you want. Following this there is a page for you to write your details.

There are quite a few pages for marking down personal goals. For me personally I won’t be using them but they would be great if your someone who sets themselves goals throughout the year.

Going on to the calendar pages it starts with the month and every month has a gorgeous gold tab. Each day has its own boxes and the is a section at the side to write down reminders for that month.

IMG_0076

After your monthly view there are the daily pages. The one thing I like about these is that there is a quote at the top of each page. As you can guess with this being a daily planner the column is broke down into hours from 7am-7pm. The column next to that is a to do list there is also a top 3 section at the top of the page. Next to that is four boxes, Dollars, Due, Dinner and Don’t forget. At the very bottom of the page the is a space for daily gratitude.

IMG_0077

I love this planner and I’m enjoying using it as well, it’s helping me keep on track with everything. I’m using this along size my happy planner and the two together are working out great.

The Jane Walker planner review

*Disclaimer: I was given this product in exchange for my honest review and opinion, the fact that I was given theis does not alter my opinion in anyway. This review is my own personal opionion on the product / company, given in good faith and has not be sponsored or endorsed. None of the links are affiliate links. Unless otherwise stated, all photography is my own any links will be at the bottom of the post.

So this is the Jane walker planner by AJ6Designs on etsy which is ran by sisters Denise and Amanda Mc Crum. I’ll tell you more about their etsy shop after. This planner has a lovely pattern on the front and back cover, it has a plastic spiral spine which I think is better than the metal ones because it squashes a bit which is good when you get to the middle when your writing. Even though it is a 12 month planner with monthly and weekly pages it doesn’t seem that heavy. The inside of the the front cover also has the same pattern with a space to write your name.

Following this there is a year at a glance and a dates to remember page where you could fill in birthdays, holidays or any big events that you want to remember.

20160209_142933

Then there is a page to plan out a cleaning routine and a page for marking down a budget. The thing I like about the cleaning page is that it doesn’t just have daily it also has monthly, quarterly and annually.

20160209_142939

After these it then goes into your calendar starting with the monthly spreads and before each month there is a note page which I really like. The monthly pages are set out in boxes and has a side bar for goals or it can be used for something else if you wish.

Following this there is your weekly pages which are set out like the Erin Condren and planners similar to that. It does have header boxes which are blank and lines at the bottom which you could use for notes or tracking something that you do daily. On each week the side bar has a quote which I think is lovely and at the bottom is a box for weekly goals.

Heading towards the back there is a few note pages and a clear folder on the inside of the back cover. I’m so pleased with this planner at the end of the last year I really wanted an Erin Condren but couldn’t afford one so got a happy planner but if I had know about these I would definitely have bought one. So if there is going to be a 2017 one I will be purchasing this planner. There is an added bonus with this planner you do receive some stickers as well because AJ6Designs also sell planner stickers.

20160209_143009

Just like me some of you probably want to know how these sisters decided to sell their own planner and where the name came from so Denise very kindly sent me this bit of information.

We are a sister Team from Ireland

Amanda & Denise

Way back in June of 2015 I wanted to start and plan out all the things I had to do on a daily basis I tried using phone apps and I quickly realised that pen & paper was more my thing, So I set about finding a great planner I found plenty in the states and the UK which I liked but were pretty costly. The was nothing on the irish market that suited my needs so I was talking to my sister and we got thinking about setting up our own planner and launching it in Ireland.

So our planner business was born. The name is my Sisters “Amanda Jane Walker” the company name is AJ (for Amanda Jane) 6 (is the amount of kids we have between us) and the D in Designs (is for Denise).
We went with Jane Walker as we felt it was a strong name that once out there would stick in peoples minds.
We are already in the planning stages for our 2017 planner with the printers along with a full stationary line to go with it. Exciting times ahead.’
So apart from selling this planner they also sell planner stickers the ones that came with the planner can be brought as well as lots more. I don’t know what more to say apart from I can’t wait until Christmas so I can put the 2017 planner on the present list.
