March Favourite’s

Hey loves! I thought about doing beauty posts again and thought what better than with a monthly favourite’s. There will be some sneak peeks in here because I did buy some new products that are going to be in a haul next week but I’ve been really loving them so couldn’t leave them out. I’m going to mention stuff in little categories like skincare and makeup etc. Any items I can find links for will be linked at the bottom.

So lets start with skincare because there are quite a few. All these products are from Avon apart from the eye roll-on. The face wash is nothing special but it has been the ones that I’ve used for most of March and I’m still using it now, with face wash I don’t really swap and change once I’m using one I will use it until it’s empty. The eye makeup remover is great for removing all my makeup, it does feel oily so I do use this first before any other face wash products. The next thing is a daily astringent, I had never heard of one of these before but since it came I haven’t stopped using it my nose looks alot clearer. Planet spa overnight facial treatment has left my skin feeling so soft my only problem is I haven’t seen it in Avon since before Christmas so once its finish I will have to find a new product so if you have an recommendations please leave them in a comment below. Lastly is my cucumber eye roll-on this has been really great in a morning an has reduced the puffiness under my eyes, I don’t think I can get this product again because it was from Homebargins and haven’t seen it in there recently so good job I have a back up and mum said she has one that she doesn’t want.

Moving on to hair products. My new favourite shampoo and conditioner are these to which have coconut water in them so that’s a big thing for me because I love the smell of coconut. I’ve also been loving these Mellor & Russell argan shine hair mask, it leave my hair so soft and shiny. These 3 products are from Poundland but don’t show up on their website, I have seen them in store quite a few times though.

I have a few makeup favourites for this month and they are most new products. First is the Maybelline master camo colour correcting pallete, I’ve really gotten into colouring correcting after trying the stick form ones from Primark. The green is great for covering the bit of pink I have in my cheeks or any spots that start to appear. The yellow above is great for covering dark circle and the one next to that is good for any discoloured parts. My trusty Body collection concealer which I’ve featured in favourite posts in the past, this is my go to concealer and I’m on the hunt for a new on as it nearly all gone. Maybelline master contour has been another great product although I do wish I got the darker one but this is fine might purchase the darker for in the summer. Lastly Maybelline stay matte powder, love love love great for my oily skin what more can I say.20170405_125232

April Avon Haul

Hey loves! Today I thought I’d do a little Avon haul for you. I bought 3 different types of products so I’ll start with skincare.

I bought a new face wash and eye make up remover, my reason for a new eye make up remover was because most that I’ve tried ended up stinging my eyes or the days after my eyes would be very irritated. I ordered the blemish peel of mask because I loved their clay on so thought I’d give this one ago too and finally I picked a daily astringent, I’ve never heard of this product before but so far I like it.

20170325_174059

Next I ordered some bubble bath and 2 lots of hand cream. The bubble bath was just because it was vanilla and I love anything vanilla or coconut scented. The milk and honey hand creams amazing and it’s the one I’m currently using, I also picked up a plain one which I thought would be OK for the girls to use.

20170325_174035

Finally I picked up some body mists because I think the scent from a body mist last longer than a body spray and I ordered them from Avon because every where else I’ve seen them they have been more than £3 unless Poundland or Homebargins has any in when I’m shopping.

Shopping Haul

Hey loves! Today I have shopping haul for you, not all of this was bought all at once it’s been bought on different shopping trips throughout last month. Some of this stuff is from Avon so lets start with that, I picked up a few beauty products as well as jewellery. The on bracelet is actually a USB cable but both of these are being put up for Christmas

Next is Poundland which I’m afraid to say is all bath bombs and they are all Christmas scented ones. I love bath bombs and when you can get them this cheap how can you say no. Also I picked up some reed diffusers.

I bought a few things from Wilko which is mainly bath products. Look at that more bath bombs.

Lastly is B&M, these candle are amazing. I picked up winter berries and two spiced cinnimon.

Any nice little bits you’ve picked up lately?

LQ Health Review

*Disclaimer, I was sent this product in exchange for a review. All views and opinions are my own.

Hey loves! I’m here today with a review on this skin, hair and nails supplement. A few months ago I signed up to the Bloggers Required website which is where I found the opportunity to try this product and review it for the brand. I received an email from Amani at Sparkle PR who said LQ Health would like to sent me their product for review so here it is.

What is LQ Health?
LQ Health is a brand that sells liquid supplements which target and resolve a range of specific health concerns. To find out more you can look on their website here. Their product are sold in many health shops like Boots and Holland and Barret.

What does the hair, skin and nails do?
It is a supplement drink in individual 50ml bottles and you take one a day. They help maintain a healthy skin, hair and nails because it contains ingredients like Liquid Marine Collagen (PEPTAN), Hyaluronic Acid and Resveratrol. You can find all the ingredients and how they help on the website. For any other questions you can read their FAQs page here.

20161024_152900

I received a months worth in the mail at the end of September so I thought I would start at the beginning of October so I can do the whole month. I do have a week left but I’m seeing results. I’ve seen some really good improvements to my skin which is smoother and softer, my nails which are much stronger than they were before. My hair is in much better condition, before it was dry and dull from all the times I’d dyed my hair now it’s shiny and smooth. They taste of these isn’t bad either I take mine in a morning before my breakfast, I would definitely purchase these myself and highly recommend these to anyone.

August/September Empties

Hey love! Every month I show you what products I’ve been loving so I thought I would show you some stuff that I’ve used up and weather I liked it or not. Most of this stuff is beauty related apart from one thing which if you’ve read some of my other post you’d probably guess that is a candle.

To start are this wrinkle care gel eye patches, I love these so much and use them once a week the do slip abit so you need to sit with your head tilted back abit. Perfect for a pamper nice or a girls night in. I think these are from Poundland or Home bargains and different branded ones can be bought on amazon or Ebay.

20160926_174144

Nose stripes, I go through these alot. My normal ones are the beauty formulas (blue packet) ehich are from Poundland. The other are by Biore which I had through the post as free samples. The one I liked the most was the Ultra one so I think next time I’m in Boots or Superdrug I will pick some of these up.

20160926_174219

Hair serum, this and the argan oil one are my go to products. With having curly hair this stuff is a life saver, I have naturally curly hair but they sometime look frizzy rather than nice smooth curls which is where this stuff comes in handy. I’m not sure where else you can purchase this from other than B&M so if anyone knows please let me konow in the comments below.

20160926_174234

These face wipes are the only ones I’ll uses and I most go through aone packet a week which is so good that Poundland sell them two for £1. Everytime I go in pick up a couple of packets, their great for if you just want to wipe your makeup off when you get in but don’t want to wash your face properly until later. I also use them to spot clean my brushes while I’m doing my makeup.

20160926_174243

This isn’t a product that I use on myself but I do use it for my girls. This may sound weird but I have an empty spray bottle which I fill with some of this and a couple pumps of my hair serum and it leaves my girls hair soft and shiny. These are also from Poundland.

20160926_174303

This is the only foot mask I’ve ever tried and I’m not sure weather I like it. While they were on my feet they felt tingly and I don’t know if they are suppose to do that. I pick this ne up from B&M but I know you can get them from most shops that sell cosmetics.

20160926_174316

This product I had off my mother so I don’t know where there from but I only use one out of  a box of 10 and I hated it. These are self-heating massage creams for your face, your suppose to massage it into your face and as you do so the cream starts warming up which I did not like. The other reason I didn’t like this product is because it dried my skin out.

20160926_174350

Last product is my favourite Poundland candles, I do have about 10 more of these empty but I didn’t see the point in taking a picture of 11 empty candle jars.  I love these and they don’t have to much of a strong smell.

20160926_174706

Hope you like this post. I have a question if anyone would like to leave some ideas in the comments below, with this candle obsession I’m always left with these empty jars but never know what to do with them. I’ve used some for my makeup brushes and for fake flower that I’ve cut down but I don’t what else to use them for so please leave your ideas below.

Miss Beauty London Makeup

Hey loves! As you can tell from the title I have another haul for you. So for those of you who haven’t heard what Miss beauty London is, it’s a UK beauty brand which is sold in Poundworld. They have a lovely range of makeup and nail polish all for £1 each.

These products were purchased over two trips and were all purchased with my own money so lets get into the haul. First I got foundation in shade 1& 2. I chose two shades so I have a darker for my tanned shaded and light for normal.

20160713_132223_Richtone(HDR)

Next is concealer, I also picked up two of these because I use a yellow toned colour to cover dark circles and a lighter one to brighten after foundation.

20160713_132459_Richtone(HDR)

I picked up one bronzer in the shade 2 LA Glow which isn’t as dark as it looks in the pan, it gives you that natural glow for this time of the year.

20160713_132158_Richtone(HDR)

Also I chose to blush in the shades 2 Bonbon and 1 cupcake, these are well pigmented for the price. Cupcake is too light for me but has a good shimmer so I think it would work well as a highlight.

20160713_132300_Richtone(HDR)

They do really nice eyeshadows and lipsticks so I picked up three of each, from lipsticks I picked 356 mauve, 67 Russet and 20 Geranium. These are lovely colours and a great formula. They aren’t matte but do last about two hours.

20160720_103114_Richtone(HDR)

From eyeshadows I chose 3 Jupiter ,5 Adventure and 2 Mystery. These eyeshadows are so pigmented, Adventure is such a lovely gold shimmer colour that it would make a lovely highlight.

20160713_132324_Richtone(HDR)

Finally I picked up a mascara, don’t now why because I have loads of mascaras but I would like to see what its like because I’ve bought cheap mascaras before and they have been great so I want to see how this one does.

20160713_132514_Richtone(HDR)

If you would like to see a full review of any of these products let me know in the comments because I have used most of these already.

Have you seen the Miss beauty London range?

Which products did you pick up?

Essence and PS…love New makeup

Hey loves! So last week I did a bit of makeup shopping. I went to Wilko and bought some Essence products and then I went to Primark and bought some products from their PS…love range. I’ve probably only used these products once so far so I can’t really tell you what they’re like but if you would like an in depth review on a certain product please leave a comment below and I will sort that out.

So from Wilko I bought a new foundation. This is the all about matt foundation in the shade vanilla.

20160627_134922

Lip liner in 06 satin mauve, this lip liner is very cream and goes on the lips really well.

20160627_135535

Lastly from Wilko I got three long lasting lipsticks in the shades 05 cool nude, this is a lovely brown nude with a pink/grey under tone. 06 barely there which is a peachy pink, 07 natural beauty, this is a coral nude.

20160627_135424

Next is what I got from Primark, a loose face powder in light

20160627_134904

2 lip liners in light pink and dark pink and 2 velvet matte lipstick crayons in Blush and Nude.

20160627_135301

Finally some makeup brush cleaner which I use with a face cloth to spot clean my brushes when I’m using them

Mini Revolution Makeup

IMG_0322

Hey loves! I thought I would share with you the few things I picked up from makeup revolution to try. I already own two of their palettes so I thought I would try some other things.

First a pick up another palette, I love the two I already own so couldn’t resist one more. The colours are amazing with a mix of matte and shimmer and so affordable at £4 These palettes are great because there is so many colours in one place to make the perfect eye look. This is the hot smoked one

IMG_0323

Next I picked up a new concealer and thought I would try this one. I’ve mainly stuck to the same concealer so thought I’d try something new so far it’s done the job I want it to.

IMG_0324

Finally I picked up yet another blush, I think I’m slowly getting obsessed. These are creamy and so pigmented. I’ve not used this yet but its in my every day makeup to be used.

May Favorites

IMG_0309

Hey loves! Today post I’m going to tell you which products I’ve been loving in May. I’ll start with skincare products.

Lacura face cream

IMG_0312

I’ve really loved this cream, it’s not broke me out or anything. I like it so much I have a back up ready for when this pot is empty.

Skin therapy facial scrub

IMG_0311

This is the only face wash I will use because all others I’ve used have a minty feeling which doesn’t agree with my skin so as soon as I used this one I stop trying any other face scrubs.

Nivea harmony time shower cream

IMG_0310

This shower gel smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling soft, I do have a couple more stocked up but I will still try others.

Lets go on to makeup products

Makeup Gallery false nails

Not really makeup but I though it fitted better than in skin care These nails are now my go to nails, to hear why check out my review here

Essense eyeshadow base

IMG_0313

I never use to use any sort of eyeshadow base but after seeing youtubers talk about them I thought I would try one. I went out and bought a cheap one just incase I didn’t like it but now I use it every day.

MUA blusher in Bon Bon

IMG_0315

Again another product that I didn’t use but it’s great and I’ve also bought another one in a different shade.

NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Toasted Marshmallow

IMG_0314

This has been my go to lip product all winter and because I loved it so much I’ve been using it all spring as well. Safe to say though I have been using some different products now. There will be a review on this product and other NYX butter glosses some time next week.

So they were the products I’ve been loving in May if you would like a review on any of these products then please leave a comment below. I’m sorry about the lighting I had to take the pictures last night so I had no natural light to work with.

Makeup Gallery False Nails

Hey loves! Please bare with me as this is my first beauty product review. Todays review is on Poundland’s Makeup Gallery false nails. I’ve had my nails done in a salon many times but with being a stay at home mum of two having them done on a regular basis just isn’t practical to me. I’m always buying false nails and most of the time they last me just as long as having them dome professionally so I was surprised when I tried these from Poundland’s Makeup Gallery range.

The nails aren’t to long which is a great thing because most false nails I have to file down. They are super easy to use because they are pre-glued but I added glue to make them last longer. I chose this set as they looked so summery to me, I loves these so much that I have a pack waiting to be used in my drawer and I spotted a couple more packs that I want to pick up.

IMG_0283

These nails would be great if you want your nails doing for just one night or you could add some extra glue like me to make them last longer. I would highly recommend these nails and they defiantly will be a repurchase for me
